The Southwestern Youth Association will host its 5th annual Cardinal Cup Tournament on August 16th and 17th in Centreville, VA. The event draws youth soccer teams from across the state and Mid-Atlantic region and has been a huge success for us for four years. Each year, participation in our event has grown from only 75 teams in our first year to over 175 teams last year, growing to one of the region’s premier Fall pre-season soccer tournaments.
In 2008, we anticipate reaching a 200 team competitive field, with players from ages 8-19 years. What this means to you as a business partner with the SYA Cardinal Cup Tournament:

Ø Reach over 500 adult team and game officials
Ø Reach over 8,000 spectators consisting of families and youth sports fans
Ø Reach over 300 tournament volunteers from the host club

The funds we raise help the club’s growth and enhance the conditions of our fields and facilities, including the completion of the SYA Field of Dreams Project. This project includes the construction of four full size soccer fields, as well as the addition of other sports fields and facilities.
Tournament sponsorship opportunities are numerous. They range from overall tournament sponsorship, to tournament items such as trophies, apparel, refreshments, referee fees and equipment, to field sponsorships, to advertising in the tournament’s program book. Payment of sponsorship programs are accepted in financial, as well as in-kind donations of supplies, equipment, products, gift certificates or merchandise.
