The SYA Technical Staff will be holding three coaching symposiums in February/March, as part of the continuing coaching education of the SYA coaching staff. We encourage all SYA Travel coaches (U9-U18) and Rec coaches working with players U12 and up to attend these clinics.

1. Coaches Meeting - February 16th, St Andrews Lutheran Church (14640 Soucy Place, Centerville)          6.30 - 9.30pm

 During the coaches meeting we will discuss the upcoming season, coaching expectations, equipment contracts, tryouts and new admistrative policies

2. Topic: Match Analysis - February 27th Braddock Park 6-7.30pm

This session will incorporate watching a 11 v 11 scrimmage and evaluating, systems, shape, player personalities. Identifying strengths and weaknesses of teams and players, how to make tactical adjustments in the flow of the game and substiution patterns.

3. Topic - Principles of Attack & Defense March 5th Braddock Park 6-7.30pm

Practical sessions will be presented on the modern application of team Attacking and Defending

Coaches are encouraged to bring a pen and paper and be dressed appropriately for the two outdoor sessions
