SYA SPRING SOCCER COACHES' MEETING ON TWO NIGHTS

In order to accommodate the different needs of our different age groups, we will be holding our mandatory coaches' meetings on two different nights based on age groups.  As part of our background investigations for all volunteers working with our children, we require that a government issued photo ID be shown in person (not copied and mailed, faxed, etc...) to a SYA representative.  All coaches and assistant coaches who did not show their government issued photo ID last season will need to come to this meeting and show that to a SYA representative.  Please come before 7:30 if you need to do this.

  • U9-U19 coaches' meeting will be held on Monday, March 15 at Liberty MS cafeteria starting at 7:30pm.
  • U5-U8 coaches' meeting will be held on Monday, March 22 at Liberty MS cafeteria starting at 7:30pm.

Please contact your age group coordinator if you have any questions.

Field Update: Monday March 1, 2010

SYA Synergy White

SYA Synergy White Soccer Fights against Hunger

SYA Synergy White U10 Girls Travel Soccer team concluded their successful Fall 2009 season by volunteering an afternoon at Food for Others.  The girls spent their time stocking shelves full of critical food supplies and then packed emergency food boxes preparing them for distribution. (Food for Others is the largest distributor of free food directly to people in need in Northern Virginia, and provides the assistance vitally needed by our unemployed and low-income neighbors)  Synergy White would like to thank their sponsors, Phoenix Consulting Group, Silverpointe Events and Marketing, and the Fairfax Coalition of Police for giving them the opportunity to do a project like this.  It was the perfect ending to a season that saw them finish as runners-up in the Richmond Cup, semi-finalists in the Battlefield Classic and go 7-1-2 in their WAGS season.
