Congratulations to Jared Windt and Paul Boehme of
the SYA Copperheads U-16 boys team who
represented Virginia’s ’92 boys team at the ODP
National Championships in Frisco, Texas March 8-9. 

Virginia narrowly defeated the California South team 3-2
to win a place in the finals. Jared scored the opening goal
in the championship game against Indiana, but Indiana
leveled the score to send the game into overtime, where
they won 3-2. Jared has participated in the ODP program
for the past two years, and twice traveled to Germany
with the state ODP team, as well as being selected to
attend regional camp.

He hopes to play in the English Premier League one day!
