Travel Soccer Winter Clinics

Winter Goal Keeper Clinic:

All Indoor Winter Clinics have very limited space due to indoor facility size, please don’t wait to sign up if you are interested.

The clinic will run from Sunday , January 15th to February 19th. (6 week Program)

Times: U9 to U12, 3pm to 4pm

            U13 and up, 4pm to 5pm

Coaches: Dave Edwards (NSCAA National GK Staff)

Location: Centreville ES

SYA Soccer appoints Paul Ellis as Technical Director

 

SYA Soccer is pleased to announce that Paul Ellis has joined the staff as Technical Director. Coach Ellis will guide SYA’s coaching staff to achieve the highest quality and most effective program of soccer coaching, education and training.
 
Ellis has a strong coaching resume having coached at George Mason University as well as State and Regional Olympic Development Teams. He was the Head Scout for the US Women’s National Team at the Athens Olympics and has coached youth teams to 7 Virginia State Titles, 3 Region one championships and 1 National Championship.
 
Coach Ellis holds an “A” license from the United States Soccer Federation as well as an NCSAA Premier Diploma.

Registration and Payment Information for SYA Travel Soccer Players

SYA travel players selected for one of our travel teams will be sent an email explaining how to accept the position, complete the registration and pay the non refundable deposit.  All travel soccer  fees must be made online.  Parents have the option of paying with a credit card or by check. Please be aware that if you choose to pay by check for a particular fee, you will not be able to change your mind and pay with a credit card later. Due dates are:  Sep 1, Nov 1, Jan 1, Mar 1 (sit out teams fee schedule is:  Sep 1, Oct 1, and Nov 1)

Travel Program Information

The SYA travel program offers competitive soccer teams of all levels. Players looking for a premier team giving them exposure to college coaches, and those who simply want a more challenging level than recreational soccer can provide, will find an SYA travel team that is right for them.

 

 

All SYA travel teams hold open tryouts following the Spring season around late May or early June, but many have openings during the year as well. Please refer to the list of teams provided on this page to contact the appropriate coach.
